Scope Of Services
ECA is the qualitative analysis of equipment failures and the identification of critical equipment within the plant in order of the most severe to least severe consequences of the failure. Consequences are categorized into safety, environment, production loss and maintenance costs. ECA is a way to focus resources into the right assets without compromising HSE and equipment integrity, enabling the plant to get the most out of its finite resources.

ECA is carried out by evaluation teams in the form of meeting reviews. Each equipment is review based its impact each consequence category upon failure. Equipment failure is further broken down to individual failure mode to assess its severity.
